“Rosè”
IGT Toscana
Rosato

The primary strength of this wine is, without a doubt, its freshness. An excellent wine not only for pairing with cheeses, which is a traditional match, but also for serving with an entire meal—especially on warm summer evenings. A cool glass of rosé is a pleasure to enjoy with friends or on one’s own.

Description

Composition: Produced with Syrah and Grenache grapes.

Soil: Pebbly soil of a marly calcareous nature, formed during the alluvial phase of the Elsa River in the Upper Pliocene, about 3 million years ago. This type of soil produces wines that are rich in body yet very balanced.

Training Method: In the vineyards, we use the spurred cordon technique, with some areas employing the Guyot method, and a density of approximately 5,000 plants per hectare.

Harvest Period: The grapes are hand-picked, usually starting around the 15th of September (depending on weather conditions) and finishing around the 15th of October.

Winemaking and Aging: The grapes are gently pressed, and the resulting must is fermented at 15°C in steel vats.

Tasting Notes: Cherry pink color. Vinous aroma with fruity hints and floral nuances. Warm, fruity taste with pleasant acidity.

Food Pairings: This wine pairs beautifully with light dishes like salads or appetizers such as cold cuts and cheeses. However, it can definitely be poured throughout the entire meal due to its freshness.
