Composition<\/strong>: Wine produced with Sangiovese in accordance with procedural guidelines.<\/p>\n Soil<\/strong>: Soil consisting of debris from the boulders of the Chianti mountains, originating from submarine landslides (Torbiditi), characterized by medium-fine-grained sandstones interspersed with clayey areas. The soil formed in the Oligocene, about 25 million years ago. The boulders produce more full-bodied, deeper, and richer wines, suitable for long aging.<\/p>\n Training Method<\/strong>: In the vineyards, we use the techniques of Gouyot and Cordon Spur with a density of approximately 5,000 plants per hectare.<\/p>\n Harvest Period<\/strong>: The grapes are handpicked during the month of October.<\/p>\n Winemaking and Aging<\/strong>: Fermentation occurs in steel vats for about 20 days, followed by aging for at least 20 months in oak barrels and tonneaux. The secondary fermentation process takes place in wood.<\/p>\n Tasting Notes<\/strong>: Deep ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of red fruits such as blackberry and black cherry are well integrated with notes of tobacco and toffee.
